On October 04th 2011, the KOTO Saigon Restaurant celebrated their grand opening at 151A Hai Ba Trung St., Dist 3., HCMC. KOTO Saigon is a new training centre of KOTO, a social enterprise that provides positive change to the lives of street and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam. Every six months, KOTO takes around 30 young people off the streets or from extremely difficult life circumstances to educate them in hospitality and English language training. Through the unique training program at KOTO, young people are empowered with secure stable employment and the ability to support themselves, their families, and help break the cycle of poverty.
Because of our high appreciation for the vocational training program that KOTO contributes to poor children and adolescents, Nha Xinh and DecoMix, two retail furniture brands under AA Corporation, have sponsored loose furniture for the KOTO Saigon restaurant. AA Corporation’s main business activity is to provide interior contracting to 5-star hotels and many of the KOTO graduates typically go to work in 5-star hotels. With a sincere donation, we hope that each trainee will have a warm environment to develop their skills and confidence in their future career.
